  • Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring friends or do they have to have campers that go to Winnamocka in the summer?
We encourage you to bring friends, neighbors, sisters or mothers! This is a time to socialize with other adults regardless of their Winnamocka connection!

What if I need to leave early or arrive a bit late?
Even though we do encourage you to experience the entire retreat, we do understand our moms’ busy schedules. Just let us know your plans in advance, and we will accommodate!

I’m a bit anxious about some of the activities?
Come, enjoy, set your own pace– participate or just enjoy cheering others on. This is a time to meet new people and experience new adventures all by your own choice!

Are outside snacks and drinks allowed?
Yes! We are going to feed you well, however if you want to pack that bag of chips or ice chest of soft drinks or adult beverages of your choice – go right ahead! We understand everyone winds down in their own fashion, and we respect
    everyone’s way of doing so.
